Stories for the “Serial” Obsessed: Library Resources

serial-social-logoHave you listened to Sarah Koenig’s Serial podcast and decided that you want more? If so, check out some of these true crime stories of ambiguous and sometimes unsolvable cases in the library today!

If you haven’t heard of it, Koenig (a journalist) follows the story of Adnan Syed who is currently incarcerated for the 1999 murder of his ex-girlfriend over the course of 12 episodes. Over the course of the show, listeners get a full dose of the whos, whats, wheres, whens and whys of the case and then get to decide for themselves if they think Adnan did it.

Since it has come out, key witness for the prosecution Jay Wilds and prosecutor Kevin Urik have both spoken on record to the Interceptor about the case.
